Payment is required on the day of the consultation and can be made by cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card (excluding Diners) & HICAPS. All workers compensation, pre medical employment and motor vehicle accident patients are required to pay their accounts at the time of consultation until a letter of liability is produced from their insurance company

Fees & Payments
Dee Why Medical Centre is predominantly a private billing practice. Some Doctors are Bulk billing for children under 18 years of age, Disability and DVA Pensioners Card Holders.
Telehealth appointments will be privately charged at $70 for a standard fee (one to two items to discuss).
Overseas/Non medicare card holders will incur private fees. Any new patients with Dr Kevin Ng, Dr Robyn Maiolo, Dr Trudi Ambler, Dr David Ross-Smith will also incur private fees including saturdays.

If you are unsure whether a long appointment is required, please ask one of our friendly receptionists. All private fees are below except for Dr Trudi Ambler. Please ring to enquire for her fees. From 15th February 2024, our fees will increase please see below.
Home Visits
Home visits are available on request for existing patients of the practice with prior arrangement to local area only and these visits are privately billed.
Please call the surgery early in the morning to discuss.
Waiting Times
At times our GPs can be delayed due to urgent or complex issues with patients. We apologies if you are asked to wait and thank you for your patience.
Cancellations
If you are unable to attend an appointment, please contact us to cancel or change your time as a fee may be charged for failure to attend with less than 4 hours notice (not claimable through Medicare).
